It’s that time of year again: Brain Cancer Awareness Month! Take a minute today to say a quick prayer for all those battling not only brain cancer but all cancers + diseases. ▫️ Let’s #GoGrayInMay and raise awareness!

Well, I am debating whether I will participate in MerMay this year, but in the meantime I was challenged to participate in the #faceyourart challenge, where you select 9 faces you’ve drawn. These are all back from my early college days when I was studying animation (before I switched career paths), but I chose each of these because they are special to me in some way or another, whether it’s the time they were drawn or who they were drawn for. On my worst days, I remember His sacrifice + love for me, and while the darkness looming overhead doesn’t always immediately dissipate, I know that I’m never alone.

Stormy + Ty Ty 🐾

Today...today was the day doctors told me I would never see. By His mighty grace + mercy, I am here. Not just surviving cancer, but thriving. And sometimes, surviving is enough. I am grateful for everyone who was by my side, everyone who has stormed heaven with petitions on my behalf...thank you all for fighting this fight with me. ♥️💙💜

I had such a great date with @iamdnoch watching @amalunabycirquedusoleil. We celebrated a successful brain tumor removal! ☺️

Heyo! I just want to share that I had a successful emergency surgery yesterday morning to remove a 3cm brain tumor that was affecting my vision. 🙌🏽 I am so grateful for the prayers and love. I’ve been ordered to bed rest for 48 hours, so I decided to take some “me” time and have a bit of a journal play. It’s been a while since I’ve sat down to just sketch and mess around, without any vision about the piece. Hope y’all enjoy it! ✌🏽
