Being a woman is empowering.

This is the first year that I prayed God would give me a single word to live by. After reading + meditating on His word, the word He gave me is “genuine.” So, that’s my biggest goal this year, to be thoroughly genuine in all that I do. What are your goals for 2019?

New Years are for new beginnings. We get a chance to start anew. So if 2018 wasn’t a great year for you, wash the dirt off and relax knowing that tomorrow is the start of a new day and a new year. Happy New Year’s everyone! • (Our pups decided to play in the mud today, but they’re looking fresh after warms baths.)

As the countdown to the new year begins, I want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for being you, for being beautiful, radiating all that is good, and for simply existing.

This year for Christmas, I wanted to gift something truly special to my mom + pops. I hand-painted this acrylic painting of Jesus on a 16x20” piece of canvas. It took me about 70-80 hours to complete from start to finish, but the reaction on mom and pops’ faces was worth it. • I found the reference image on Pinterest, but I’m not sure who the original artist is. Credit to them for the idea!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I pray that God blesses each and every one of you this Christmas Day, and I thank God for bringing His Son into this world to save us from ourselves. ✝️
